Block Paving
Quality block paving should look good for years to come. The key is getting the preparation and installation right from the start.
We take the time to build a properly engineered base, with the depth and compaction suited to the project. The existing surface is fully excavated where required, a suitable sub-base is installed and mechanically compacted, and the blocks are laid on a carefully prepared bed of sharp sand.
Edges are securely restrained, and blocks are accurately cut with a saw for clean, precise joints rather than simply snapped to fit. Once laid, the paving is thoroughly compacted and kiln-dried jointing sand is brushed into the joints.
